Book An Assembly

Holly Serio's school assemblies are designed to motivate, inspire, and entertain grade school students (grades K-5).   All assemblies are centered around social/emotional wellness and self-regulation concepts. These topics are taught using original music, movement, and games. With a Masters Degree in Music Education as well as 12 years of teaching in the public school system, Holly designs her assemblies with the needs of the students in mind: engagement, entertainment, and education!

Assemblies can also be tailored based on the ages in attendance. For example, if the grades are split into K-2 and 3-5 (or 1-3 and 4-5), Holly will feature more movement with the younger kiddos to keep them actively engaged in their learning, and will include more rhythmic body percussion with the older ones. Splitting up the age levels has been very successful, and is the ideal situation if your budget allows.  

Holly has also worked extensively with daycare centers all throughout Central PA.  Because of this, she is able to cater her content to the crowd--be it for Pre-K kids, or pre-teens!

1.  "How to Make the Most of Every Day" - How to manage the five types of days we all experience: 'Yay' days, 'Ugh' days, Edgy days, Ordinary days, and Extraordinary days.  "Make the Most" is all about possessing a positive mental attitude to persevere through any kind of day!

2.  "How to Find the Fun in Every Day" - Ways to find fun no matter what situation we find ourselves in!  "Find the Fun" is high-energy and interactive!

3.  "How to Choose the Right Every Day" - We are all faced with many choices each day, and we all strive to make the right ones.  "Choose the Right" has a focus on being kind to yourself and others, how to 'take a beat' before reacting, and how to spin a negative into a positive!

4. "How to ROAR Every Day" - This assembly helps students discover their inner tiger! They will learn to ROAR by being Respectful, Openly Caring, Always Safe, and Ready To Learn. With a mix of interactive songs, fun quizzes to test their knowledge, and high-energy music, this assembly is a lot of fun!

5. "How to Find God in Every Day" - This assembly uses the five kinds of days found in the "How to Make the Most of Every Day" assembly, and discusses how to find God in each one!

6. "Holiday Carol Sing" - Bring the entire school together for a fun-filled 30 minutes of holiday music! Holly will lead the group in festive song of all kinds - traditional Christmas carols, Hanukkah tunes, pop-culture classics - that will surely help to get everyone into the holiday spirit!
